The Healthcare Index is a new platform that lets Retirement Home workers confidentially score their workplace and help build worker power in Ontario.

Because your experience matters. The more workers who participate, the stronger the picture we can build of working conditions in Retirement Homes across Ontario.

Less than two minutes. Find your workplace, tap the stars to score each category, verify your membership and hit submit.

Yes. Your identity and individual scores will NEVER be displayed publicly or shared with your employer.

Your Member ID # is only used to verify that you are an SEIU Healthcare member and that scores come from real healthcare workers. The credibility of each unique score is critical to the platform. Your Member ID # is never displayed publicly or shared with your employer.

We will never provide your employer with your identity or individual scores. Employers will only see the combined workplace results that are eventually published through the Healthcare Index.

If you don’t know your Member ID #, that’s no problem! We have a built-in chatbot in the bottom right corner of the platform to get it in real time.

No. Each verified worker gets one score per workplace during each Index cycle. Our team will contact you when it’s time to leave a new score.

Once we have verified your submission, your score is combined with scores from other workers to help calculate your workplace’s overall results.

Find your voice. Score your workplace and then encourage all your coworkers to do the same. The index gets stronger every time another worker participates.
